We love pushing our selves to tell stories that make us think. Because those who think become inspired, and we create films to inspire. We are COMV, and this is our passion.

Sometimes a little sarcasm

can turn a hard experience into one worth laughing about. And let’s face it, Last year had its share of hardships and glories for the popular culture scene; so here at COMV we decided to mix the best of both and sprinkle in a little facetious humor.

The Good

Looking back on 2015 we can remember a few moments of glimmering joy — Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming to mind immediately for me. In the original version of Dumbledore’s year in review we planned to end with Harry’s happy expression in finding Star Wars in the basin when the potion was gone. Sadly though, it just didn’t work well with the timing. Also, leaving on the note of Dumbledore needing water to clear his mouth of the insanity that was 2015 gave the flavor we were looking for.
Sometimes you look back on your year and think, “That was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.” Well, have you ever considered what it would be like to have to personally ingest the harshest, coldest realities of the whole year? No, because you only think of yourself.

JK Rowling’s Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince provided for creating a review of the nitty gritty of 2015. In context of the film and book, the moment of drinking the potion of despair is truly heart wrenching. However, if you think about it, what exactly was in that potion? Disparagement!
It made the perfect canvas for displaying those hard moments in such a light as to elicit laughter, so we hope. (Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful)

The Bad

We all liked some things about 2015. But I think we can all agree that there were some things we really didn’t. While I don’t want to name any names, the video will make them perfectly clear.
Thank goodness that a certain “Boy Who Lived” and a wizardly headmaster went out of their way to drink the bitter of the year, leaving us with nothing but good memories and funny moments.

The Ugly

Let’s not talk politics at the dinner table.
