Acts of War Update

      What do you do with a canceled movie? Well you redo it, and don't cancel it this time, at least that is what we hope.

      In the summer of 2005 we attempted to make Comv's first full length film. Well that idea got shot in the foot about 1000 times and then was left to walk home by it's self. The problems all started with the actors not all liking each other. Once your actors want to kill each other they defiantly don't want to listen to you (as the director). Once they don't listen to you there is no way you can finish a movie. But that was not the only thing that caused I (Weston Childers, the director) to cancel the movie, also the fact that my communication skills towards my camera man sucked, therefore my camera man didn't get the shots the way I had thought them up to be as. So not only where my actors not acting but my filmer wasn't filming (at least the way I wanted).

      While all these problems where getting solved time was getting wasted and soon everyone's free time ended, and there was no more time to film, so I pulled the plug, NO MORE ACTS OF WAR!...But now for this summer, after re-re-re-re-re-re-writing the script, and rethinking the cast, and making me my own camera guy, I hope the movie will be able to be finished. So until the next update on Comv's big movie, well… go fishing or something.
