Hello goodbye?

      Well hello there my fellow COMV’ers. Long time no talk which means a lot got done right? Exactly, we finished SAFE HAVEN, produced The Dark Knight and built a tree farm in Alaska …

      Ok so that was a little sarcastic and far from the truth (except for the bit about Alaska) but we did get a few things done in our absence from updates. For starters you may have noticed that there is a new movie up on the site. Hammerhead is the newest addition to COMV 's collection and is a very welcomed one at that. Ever since we filmed the ancient classic At All Costs and ever since ACTS of WAR got canceled 3 times, we here at COMV have been craving to do another war based movie. Just something about the mass amount of special effects, the cool location, and the manley costumes required for a war movie makes us all want them so bad.

      Finally in early July that want was satisfied with a war film of a different kind. The video Hammerhead was made as a music video for a contest the OFFSPRING was holding. The song provided a great story to make a film on, and a great story is what we wanted to give. I won 't go into detail about it just yet, but I do hope that the two LONG weeks we put into the video, in your eyes, were worth it.

      Ok so that accounts for two-ish weeks out of the 3 months without an update, so? Well the rest of the time has been spent designing websites for other businesses and working on some miscellaneous projects.

      Not much of an update I know, but sadly things around here will be even calmer in the next few months. I (Weston Childers) the president of COMV and the webmaster responsible for these very late and inconsistent updates will be leaving next month to live in Mexico City, for a small period of time. The small period of time will be two years of service, which will be quite enjoyable. But on the other hand of that joy there is a limitation on film making, a limitation that equals NO film making. So the site will be taking a two year break, but there is yet some good news. As a good bye gift to those who like clothes, COMV will be releasing some custom COMV-t 's for you all to flaunt to your friends. But until then you will just have to be naked, I 'm sorry.
